Reiki.. Reiki Healing.. Reiki Training
There are three aspects to reiki training that help your reiki healing greatly.

These are 3 things taught by Usui Sensei (pictured above) in his reiki system. They are also things taught and discussed by contemporary Reiki people such as Frank Petter and William Rand.
Intuition, I think, is really the idea of “getting a feel” for something. Something being able to function well and beautifully without conceptuality. It also has a sense of “knowingness” to it. People talk about intuitive design in all sorts of things from houses to cars to roads and towns, to computer games and consoles. They are talking about how natural something feels to the user.
This is a great way to approach an understanding of intuition. And, the key to intution, using it and having there clearly for you in life and your reiki healing.. in the reiki training context.. is the practise of meditation and the reiki ideals.
The reiki ideals, when contemplated morning and night.. as recommended by Usui Sensei.. start to slowly sink into your heart and start to inform your values and belief systems.
Healthy ways of thinking produce a stable and calm mental landscape. Mental clarity comes with mental stability. Mental clarity is sinonomous with intutition.
Daily sitting meditation also produces mental clarity and and calm, through disciplining your mind. The most common analogy is that of a cup of muddy water.. by sitting the cup still.. the mud settles and the water becomes clear. Similarily, by practising sitting meditation your mind becomes clearer.
An important thing to remember about sitting meditation is that you are not trying to hold your mind still. You are just practising to “just sit”.. not sitting plus thinking.. or sitting plus worrying.. just sitting. For just 10 minutes a day.
So, you sit, and then you notice you have been thinking a bit.. and you go back to just sitting.. if you need something to focus on.. then just make sure you are sitting with a straight back.. with you spine sitting comfortably on itself.
