Two Things To Keep Your Reiki Path Alive..
There are two things that you might consider worthwhile if you are taking up Reiki training for the first time, or picking it up again after a bit of a break..
1. Use it.
Reiki needs to be used. Sounds simple. But, getting a daily spiritual practise happening is one of the hardest things you will probably ever do. I used to live in a Buddhist center and was briefly on the center’s organizing committee.. and the joke used to be that even changing a light bulb can be an impossible task.. because when great benefit can come from a task, even a simple one like changing a light bulb, or giving yourself 10 minutes of Reiki everyday, it can be extremely hard to execute. So, a tip.. send Reiki to everything that would be considered an block to your goal of “doing” Reiki everyday. Whether that is no time, or too much time, or laziness, or tiredness, or whatever..
2. Dont quit.
No-one can do it for you. No-one is actually going to support you very much, either. And, if they do.. make sure you recognize the value of that person.
Reiki is about healing.
If you think you are all healed. Then maybe you should be focussing your healing on that mis-conception. This is not meant to be depressing. Because, truthfully, if you give yourself Reiki everyday for 5 years, you will likely be the brightest star in the sky around you.. but, the reality is that many people are not looking for growth, at least not on the surface.. and most people are scared of challenging the status quo, or being challenged themselves by seeing some-one grow (up). Don’t rely, emotionally, on anyone else’s feedback to keep going.. that is not the most stable way to stay with your practise. Develop your own inner guide, and passion.

These are such simple yet complex points - they make so much sense and yet ca be the hardest things to do when you are struggling to keep up the practise!! Thanks for your wisdom once again :o)
Just letting you know also that I have left you a little gift over at Roots That Heal
One of my favorite methods to do this is to fall asleep while doing reiki to myself. I usually have a hand over my dantian and another over my heart center, but it doesn’t really matter. It’s just a good way to clear up any stresses I picked up during the day.
I do the same thing. Before going to bed i say my attitude of gratitude and then do the chakra balancing. And before i turn in for the night i place my hands on the Anahata and manipura chakra and go to sleep. It is a peaceful night i experience.
looking forward for more information about this. thanks for sharing. Eugene
What a beautiful concept. Doing reiki every single day. It’s true, when I’ve gone through periods where I make sure to channel reiki energy healing on a daily basis, my whole life runs smoother! When I get off track and forget about it for a while, that’s when things in my life start to slip. Thank you for your post! It is very inspirational.
hey there…just checking in…hmmm…no postings in a while…I do hope that is due to good busy-ness! Is that even a word!? Busy-ness? Anyway, hope all is well on your end of the planet..it is here!
And I don’t know that I am the brightest star in the sky around me ;), but I do reiki on myself every day…and always have since my Level I attunement. Good advice!

Hey Meredith, things are fine. Good really :). Just flat out having babies and running our family business. Four boys now! All so different and vibrant. Keeps you on your toes! And also keeps me very grounded, which I need! lol.
Glad you are going well. Think about you from time to time and wonder. May it ever more (and more) be so.
Love, TC
The points you make are profound. You cannot use reiki once or twice or several times and expect miraculous changes. Yes, change can occur. Health can be enhanced. But, the repeated use of reiki is exceedingly important. The repeated, consistent use of reiki on self and others seems to produce a clearer channel for the flow of energy.
