I was watching this really interesting piece on John Dobson last night on our ABC. Some great and enthusiastic thinker about the cosmos.

He was talking about how everything in the universe is both energy and sentient.

He was also talking about things like the inconsistency of the big bang theory and the more likely theory that the universe had no beginning or end.

Good stuff.

It got me thinking about energy. And how much more sense things make when you start to shift your thinking to looking at life as systems of energy, rather than solid objects. Because, solidity implies permanence.. which gives you the sense it is fixed and unchanging.

But, nothing in life is like that.

Reiki is such a great practise and such an excellent tool for dealing with an energy world. It is able to bring clarity and healing to such a vast array of situations and things.

Take your body.

It is energy. Your organs are energy. Your head is energy. Your knees are energy.

Reiki heals energy. Reiki improves the flow of energy. Like washing stones out of a hose. It cleans energy. It also brings it closer to enlightenment vibration.

When an enlightened buddhist master dies, sometimes he or she will leave nothing but their hair and finger nails behind. They will attain what is called a “body of light” or a “rainbow body”.

This is our potential. This is the product of clean energy.

The beauty of reiki is that you do not need to understand conceptually how it is healing. You do not need to know about the mystery of the process. Unlike the healing of counselling therapy, where you need to bring into awareness that which needs healing.

Reiki will heal whether you know it is or not.

But.. if you want to teach reiki.. you should know a bit about why it heals.
